Konar
Here's the thread to post about what you would like to be in charge or give an helping hand on the site, so write some lines about yourself, what you like, since how long do you play M&B, if you have moding experience, etc.

There's a thread for deeper news & team coordination in a private section of this site that can be accessed by team members and moderators.

Edit: I write what's the most needed (in my opinion), in order of importance, the number in color is the number of ACTIVE members that would be necessary to take care of the task:

- 4 team members: Post news about mods new releases or mods' work in progress screenshots, official statements from TW devs, general information. This is the "core" part of the site, and what keep it alive, so it's the most important position but it needs a lot of time, search for information, and it can become boring on a long term (uploading pics, writing some information text)
- 3 team members: Add major mods to the addons section (but wait that we define properly the "types" of mods). This is another one of the hardest position since it is quite boring and you have to be careful.
- 2 team members: Write articles (FAQ, tutorials, Mods reviews, Interview with mods leaders ...). This is an important position too since it's something that adds value to the site and "deepness" and it requires good english skills (well better than mine hehe) and good writing skills.
- 1 team member: Moderating forum, it is of very low importance at the moment and we already have Janlulhannes active on this position so we won't need more help on this section.

Btw: I may look directive but I'm coordinating a bit the team till it becomes fully operational.
Moss
As I've said before I'm more than happy to help with write ups for a few mods, especially the small addon ones which I'll be doing regardless for the TaleWorlds thread.

If you need another moderator to keep an eye on the forums then I'd be happy to do that (and as an added bonus, I'm Australian, so I'll be awake and on hand when you and Jan aren't wink.gif).

If there's any other thing I can do to help with the forums or the site, I've got a fair amount of free time at the moment as well and would be happy to do what I can.

As for my CV, well, I'm a fairly avid game player, University student and budding modder. I've been playing Mount and Blade ever since 2005 in the good old days of the v.6's and have been a regular member of the Taleworlds forums off and on for that time.
Konar
Since you plan to work on the website too I added you in the "site team" group, you can check the Site Team's Private forum here to get information.

The Site Team is the only team who gets those fancy profiles on the site? happy.gif
Moss
Thanks Konar!
The set up is about the same as a small forum me and my friends set up a while ago, so I'm pretty familiar with the Admin tools. At least familiar enough that I won't accidentally set fire to anything. wink.gif

Yeah, they are automatically added when their account on site's administration board is created.

Edit: I modified parts of code in order to put forum moderators too in the "team" page.
captain_lust
I've said it before and I'll say it again: I've got tonnes of time and I'll give you tonnes of help.

I'm happy to moderate, contribute etc. I'll write reviews. I'll go the extra mile.

The site looks good, btw.
Tintin
I'm sure i could help with something. Give me a job and i'll do my best. *hug*
El Georgeo McFudge
I'd be happy to do my part in assistance to the forums advancement. thumbsup.gif

I have had a lot of experience in the use and management ranging from simple board moderation to full site owner. I'd be happy to give you a helping hand in kick-starting this promising site and like Moss, being from the other side I'm available during the other hours when you might not be. I have much free time that I'm willing to devote to the site for whatever you might want me to do.
Sushiman
Yeh, I'll do what all of them said, but I'll look good doing it tongue.gif
Konar
I updated first post about positions. I'm a bit late to answer to some of PM right now, but don't worry, i'll be back in 1 h.
Sushiman
As I said above, I'll be happy to do some of the writing jobs, and if/when you need another forum mod, I'd be more than happy to help out. And on another point, I'm better than Moss and McFudge 'cos I'm in New Zealand, and the All Blacks beat the Wallabies, which makes Kiwis better that Aussies.

I wont be able to write anything tonight, but I'll get a start on is in the morning.

I just noticed, on the website it says ressource sites, it should be resource. biggrin.gif

Ups, fixed! tongue.gif

I added all of you to the site team, so as you can access the adminitration board of site and see how it looks like.
captain_lust
haha, I like how there's more team members than regular members.

I'm going to a review a mod over the weekend and write an article on it.
FrisianDude
Well, I have no idea which of the three free ones I'd like to do most, but I'd be very happy to help with anything.

That is, if you still need help. wink.gif

Yes, maybe you think that we are too many on the team at the moment but I'm sure that after a while some people will see that managing a website is something quite tough and requiring a lot of time and they will quit the team or become inactive. It's very different to posting in a forum or being forum moderator, which is more "fun". smile.gif

There can never be too many on the team. I was gonna put a smily face on but couldn't find it worship.gif
Konar
FrisianDude, I added you to the team, you can now check our private forum part for more information smile.gif
FrisianDude
Alright, thanks. Site team is this bit: -

right?
Konar
No site team is generic for staff members updating and managing the website itself.
FrisianDude
Okiedokie.
Miclee
I know I'm a bit late, but I'd be glad to help with SOMETHING here.
Konar
Well actually we need help on newsposting:

I haven't posted any news yet, have I? I really should do something. tongue.gif
Corndawg
I'll do stuff. I can do a mixture, although I would prefer to do some work on reviews, interviews, and that stuff if possible. If not then just put me up anywhere if needed.
Konar
Well we try to get motivated team members, and I'm not sure that at 13 you'd be mature enough for this. I know doing generalities sucks but it's often like that, youngest people think that being in the team is just chatting on the forum! smile.gif However you can submit us a news or review in the "send us" section, and if you're skilled and motivated we'll add you to the team! hug.gif
Jezze
If it is possible and you need more team members I would like to offer you my services if nessecary. I am probaly most interested in writing reviews or post some info about mods of M&B because I play much M&B and play also a lot of different mods.

The problem only is that my time is mostly filled up with other stuff so it is not really possbile for me to be pro-active. But writing reviews of mods should be not a real problem because I can do it almost any time. I am recently writing a review of Sword of Damocles for this website and it should be done in a few days. And I do not mind if there are other jobs than reviewing that I can do.

EDIT: If not possible, I can contribute to the site if you want
Konar
Yes of course, send us your work and we'll add you to the team ! smile.gif
Jezze
Ok Thanks! I sended my review to captain lust this afternoon. It only needs some adaptians before it can be posted. I can have it done by tomorrow I think.
Konar
We're still looking for active newsposters. Here's the description of this position:

Post news about mods new releases or mods' work in progress screenshots, official statements from TW devs, general information. This is the "core" part of the site, and what keep it alive, so it's the most important position but it needs a lot of time, search for information, and it can become boring on a long term (uploading pics, writing some information text that might look often the same).
Jezze
I saw that you currently not have a review of the EATRC mod. The coincedence is that I am playing this mod for several weeks/days now and so I could write a review about this if no one else is currently working on it or/if nessecary. Interview can also be done.

Problem is only, that I am leaving , again, for a week to Switzerland. I do not know if you need it fast or soon but this week I cannot manage to finish it. After that it should be no problem.
Tintin
Take as long as you like. We can't force you to write a review that you're volunteering to do
Jezze
It was more the question if you needed it. Should be a bit stupid to write one which will eventually not be used.
Tintin
Yeah, I'm pretty sure we'll use it. Everythings welcome.
Jezze
Btw,

When will the review of SoD be posted? Or are there still some point that are not good enough? Or do you wait to put on a later moment?
Tintin
I'll go check for you

I think Captain lust is just going over it
Jezze
Is there a possibility that I can join up with the site team?
Konar
Yes sure, you did a nice article, but being in the team will require regular updates on news or articles! wink.gif
Jezze
K thx! I almost finished my review of the EATRC mod. I am thinking of doing an interview with it. Should be nice I think.
Venitius
Hi, well I'm applying to become a team member. I relatively frequent Pioneer's Guild and its respective sub-boards, so I generally know of new releases/previews/whatnot rather quickly. I do have a few hours every night available, but some of it will be taken up eating/browsing Taleworlds/working on my add-on/writing lore/other stuff. But currently I'm not so busy.
Konar
Welcome in the team Venitius! drunk.gif
Gaxleep
I would like to help about that:

Thx!
Coming soon with some news! thumbsup.gif
Sir Robert I
I would be interested in writing articles, if that is still availabe. I enjoy writing reviews and mods for other games, and Mount&Blade is my favourite. Thanks
Konar
Hey, yes it's still possible but only if you are REALLY motivated, we have a lot of team members that joined but never added content.
